Reserve Chardonnay

Deep Woods Estate Reserve Chardonnay is handpicked from two central Wilyabrup vineyards in the northern Margaret River, with a small amount of fruit sourced from Karridale.

After harvest, the fruit is chilled to maintain its pristine condition. Each parcel is vinified separately. A minimal intervention approach at the winery includes whole bunch pressing and a wild yeast ferment.

The wine matures in new and seasoned French oak for nine months with gentle lees stirring. It is blended just prior to bottling and release.

Pale green straw, Deep Woods Estate Reserve Chardonnay has pure citrus flavours. Its fine acidic backbone pulls the taste forward into a seemingly endless finish.

A wine of depth, power and complexity. Cellaring potential is seven years.
